Ingredients:
- 6 cups all purpose flour
- 3 - 3.5 cups water
- 3 tsp dry yeast
- 3 tsp sugar
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp oil
- sesame seeds
(optional)
- 1 egg white (optional)
Directions:
- Place flour in a big bowl
, add salt and mix it.
- Heat water at about 40 °C( 104 °F). In a cup mix yeast, sugar and a little amount of water just enough to activate the yeast. Add yeast to flour and start to knead. Add 1/2 cup water at a time and knead well for a few minutes or until you have soft dough. At the end add 1-2 tbsp oil
, knead well then cover your dough with a damp cloth
. Let dough to rise for about 1 hour.
- Spread a little oil or flour on a surface and knead a little your dough then divide into 3( or 2 if you have big pan
) and shape into loafs. Place loafs in pan already wiped with oil. Cover with damp cloth and let the dough to rise again for 30 min - 1 hr.
- Preheat the oven
at 180 C (350 F) for few minutes and bake your bread for 30-40 minutes or until golden. When bread is done, wipe with beaten egg white and sprinkle sesame.
- Serve in breakfast or sandwich.
