Lentil Soup

Ingredients:
Directions:
  • Wash lentil very well and soak for 30 min.
  • Peel off onion and chop, split chillies in two.
  • In a saucepan heat oil, add mustard  and fry till they splutter, then add onion and fry for a few minutes till becomes soft. Add green chillies, tomato paste and fry 1 minute. Add 3 cups water, lentil and all spices.


  • Cover with lid and boil 20-25 min on medium low heat.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve.
